In the "O Senhorio" app, you have the right to request, at any time, the deletion of your account and associated personal data, as provided in our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation (Angolan Data Protection Law, GDPR, and LGPD).
How to request deletion of your data
Option 1 — Directly in the app
- Open the O Senhorio app and sign in to your account.
- Go to Profile → Settings → Account.
- Select "Delete account and data" and confirm the request.
Option 2 — By email
- Send an email to support@osenhorio.app with the subject "Data Deletion Request".
- Include the email address or phone number associated with your account, for identity verification.
- You will receive confirmation of completion within a maximum of 15 business days.
If you signed in to the app through an external provider (e.g., Facebook Login), you can also submit your request through either of the channels above — the result is the same: deletion of your account and associated data.
Why we collect your data
Within the scope of the platform, personal data is collected exclusively to make the rental service you provide or use possible and secure:
- Identity verification — to protect landlords and tenants against fraud, scams, and fake listings;
- Property listing and management — property data (photos, address, descriptions) is required to create and display listings;
- Digital contracts — identification of the parties is legally required to create and sign valid lease agreements;
- Payments and security deposits — transaction records provide receipts and financial history for both parties;
- Communication — chat, notifications, and rent alerts depend on your contact details;
- Legal obligations — certain data is required by tax and anti-fraud laws in the jurisdictions where we operate.

What is deleted
- Personal identification data (name, date of birth, identity documents);
- Contact details (address, email, phone numbers);
- Profile photos and published content associated with the account;
- Search history, favorites, alerts, and preferences;
- Messages and conversation history on the platform;
- Technical and usage data associated with your account.
What may be temporarily retained
Some data may be retained after the deletion request, exclusively where required by law, namely:
- Financial and transaction data — retained for the period required by applicable tax and accounting obligations;
- Contractual data — digitally signed lease agreements, for the legal document retention period;
- Records necessary for fraud prevention or for the exercise of rights in ongoing legal proceedings.
Once the legal retention periods expire, this data is permanently deleted using technical methods that prevent its restoration.
